Principal Ashley Smith leads the Jets at Jackson Elementary. Ms. Smith has 16 years of experience in education, including 7 years of service in Lamar CISD. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles, including teacher, ELAR specialist, assistant principal, and now principal, each of which has deepened her commitment to student success and instructional excellence. Ms. Smith earned her bachelor’s degree from Houston Baptist University and her master’s degree from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. Ms. Smith is passionate about ensuring that every child has access to high-quality instruction, meaningful relationships, and opportunities that empower them to reach their fullest potential at Jackson Elementary.
